| BALTIC EXPRESS Alan Wilson supplied the piccies for this page following our intrepid expedition to Tallinn. Can't give you any words as I wasn't there (well... the wife wouldn't let me go...). The first one up is of, yes, you guessed it, that wild man of soccer, the intrepid and Hearts obsessed to the exclusion of all else, John McBurnie, pictured late in the evening with a slightly worried looking (and who can blame her) young Estonian. The venue was Ruby Tuesday's bar in Tallinn which, amazingly enough is Scottish owned and run (they get everywhere, don't you know). Anyway, here he is....
According to Alan, he got worse as the evening wore on. Now does that mean that he slopped his pint, got rowdier or got off with slightly worse looking birds? I really couldn't say... What was the result guys? Oh yes, 1-0 to Hearts. Didn't they do well?. |
